Pastor Colleen McFarland is serving as the Interim Pastor at Pisgah, following the retirement of Rev. R. James Dietrich, who retired at the end of 2016. Pastor Colleen gained her Masters of Theology from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary, and is trained specifically in Interim Ministry.
In her Statement of Faith, Pastor Colleen expresses that:
"The Church is a vehicle through which we learn about God and the grace, forgiveness and love that is available to all who accept Jesus as Lord. Jesus is the head of the Church in the world and has entrusted to us the duty of the great commission as found in Matthew's gospel. We are charged to go and to teach, and to baptize in the name of Jesus Christ. We are to be the hands and feet of Jesus to a world that doesn't know the hope of the forgiveness of sins and eternal salvation. We are to serve God by loving and serving those around us as well as those in the world beyond."
She is a member of the Kiskiminetas Presbytery and lives in Kittanning, PA with her husband David.
